Staff Work to get the Academy Ready

I was asked to post a picture of Jen Sprafke cleaning. The truth is that there has been a lot of staff cleaning, moving, and setting up rooms. Many have come over from central office and they have taken on any job that need to be done no matter how dirty. (Thank You)

We have also had work crews here from the new SESC and CCWC had their paint crews here. There has also been work crews from the field. At the same time we completed a modified Academy program that graduated 14 new Correctional Officers. Most of them going to CRCF. We have also been preparing for the 103rd VCA.

103rd arrived on Monday the 10th and they are the first participants to stay overnight at our new site. There are 16 participants in this class. They have become our test subjects to let us know what more needs to be done at our new site.

We have set up our new smart board in our main class room. It is a vast improvement over our St. Joseph's set up. Also there has been some use of our other spaces already for different meeting. I hope to have an updated room usage calendar up soon so we can manged our space more efficiently.

I will be posting some pictures from around our new facility so stay tuned, and if you are at Central officer for some reason, come on over and check us out. We would be happy to show you around.
